	Great sounding radio, certainly the best for the money. Wish that a external FM antenna wasn't needed, but the recipient of the gift listens to stations 50 miles away. I've had both the Tivoli Mod One and the PAL.. this compares equally if not better. I really like the tone control. You won't go wrong with this radio. Do note that AM signals are difficult to pull in from over 50 miles away. Also like the tuning indicator lights.

	I have bought 3 of these in the last 4 months. One for the office, one for the shop and another for my Mom. We added a TERK passive antenna to each and they perform flawlessly. I like the styling and combined w/Cambridge quality and reputaion, you can't miss. If your looking for a no-frills, straight forward radio, this is it!

	I love the retro styling and simplicity of turning knobs rather then pushing buttons. With the option for headphone listening and auxilary input jack with modern fidelity the 705 is a highly attractive bedside or table radio.

	The 705 radio has a clearer and more open sound than the Tivoli Model One it replaced. And while the tuning mechanism is similar, the 705 is easier to tune quickly than the Model One, and has exhibits less drift once tuned.
