	BLEW US AWAY!!!!	03/09/2008

	I teach music (about 800 children) and received the Soundworks Playdock as part of my teaching curriculum. When I turned it on....I was blown away by the volume and clarity of sound. We use it in the gym when we are rehearsing for our music programs and I take it outside with me every morning as perform my duties as crossing guard. The music makes everyone's morning as they come through the crosswalk. As the cars come through the crosswalk, their windows are down so they can hear the music. We've also used it many times for recess while the children are outside. I also teach choir (about 100 students) and I've used it a couple of times when we had a concert outside....no chords...no wires....no electricity!!! It is one of my favorite pieces of equipment to use!!

	not quite for IPOD but	01/05/2008

	although the speaker sounds great WHEN it is plugged into the wall & the ipod is on battery power.... the adapter fits an ipod well and does allow for the apple charging cable to be plugged in while the ipod is in the cradle; HOWEVER, you canNOT charge the ipod at the same time you play the music UNLESS you have a high tolerance for HUM & i must say that i also am disappointed that the selection of cables DOES NOT INCLUDE one that will allow charging an ipod whether the speaker is on battery or plugged into the wall

	The best portable Ipod speaker (not perfect but	08/07/2007

	I have an Ipod video (30gb) and have tried several speakers for it. This is the best suited for my needs. I like to take it to the beach and outdoors to the firepit and stuff like that. I have an Apple Ipod HiFi, Altec Lansing IM7, Klipsh Igroove, Logitech MM50 (and more). The problem I have with most speakers is they aren't portable because of battery life or the ones that do have decent battery life don't sound that good outdoors or in a large areas. The Playdock MP3 is the best compromise. It has good bass, plays loud & is portable (although it's nothing you're going to pack in your luggage) with it's rechargeable battery. It doesn't come with a remote so I bought an I-Jet remote for the ipod so I can control volume and skip tracks. There may be speakers out there that have a little better sound or are more portable but for portability and sound quality and volume this is the best compromise. I am very happy with this speaker and everyone that hears it is impressed also.

	Very Best Value for High Quality Sound	01/07/2007

	I received a Soundworks PlayDock MP3 or Christmas. After building some playlists we had our next door neighbors over for dinner. They could not beleive the sound quality, they had bought a very expensive radio sound system, as advertised on TV, a year ago. They felt the sound fidelity from the PlayDock was far better than their expensive system. The next morning they ordered the Cambridge SoundWorks PlayDock. I will be using this system for a long time, and enjoy the flexibility of system. It is by far the best value for high quality sound that you can buy.

	I've just recieved my playdock mp3 today and have been putting thru the ringer.I'm jammin out to metallica right now,and it sure sounds good! i put on aerosmith's first album earlier and that sounded just as good! I also have a bose sound dock, and believe me I would've never bought the bose had I found the playdock MP3 first. The Bose, altough sounds nice cant handle heavy metal bass like the playdock mp3. I own 2 zen sleek mp3 players,and bought this for $ 180.00 I'd be happy if I paid the full price of $ 250.00 Anyone like to buy a slightly used Bose sound dock? ha ha ha!
