	No more movie theaters for me.	11/30/2006

	I installed 7 of these in a 16’ X 22’ room and ran CL Rated Monster XPHP Clear Jacket - Advanced Speaker Cable with Monster’s AGP-RH Angled Gold Pins connectors to each speaker from a Marantz SR8500 A/V receiver. Combined with a Cambridge Sound Works P500 subwoofer, the sound is out-of-this-world! The room has hardwood flooring and the subwoofer was placed in the right-front corner. Action DVD’s like James Bond, Die Another Day with DTS encoding completely engulf you in the action. I doubt I will go to a movie theater again. The wife was watching Tomb Raiders and I was in the garage (on the other side of the wall farthest from the sub) and thought there was an earthquake…California, you know.

	We installed three of the MC300IW's as right, center, left main speakers in our 13' x 26' room with ceiling to floor fibreglas insulation batting between the wall studs where the three MC300IW's were to be mounted. They are combined with four CSW Newton S300's for surrounds and rear surrounds along with a CSW Newton P1000 subwoofer. We drive the three front and surround speakers with a Pioneer Elite VSX-84TXSi AV receiver. As it is, serving as audio for both music and video, the CSW MC300IW's have not disappointed us in any way. Clean, full-bodied, realistic mid to upper ranges of music and film audio are their characteristic and delightful quality. The CSW P1000 subwoofer takes over below 80 Hz to provide ample bass support. We are very well pleased with the sound of this system. We don't say that the sound of the MC300IW's cannot be improved upon; however, the cost of such improvement may indeed exact a significant financial toll. The CSW MC300IW's fulfill the promise in the home of a reasonable facsimile of live performance and vivid film soundstaging.

	Great, room-filling sound and outstanding value (3 speakers) - very easy to mount in shallow space (for do-it-yourself, be sure to pack wall with fiber glass insulation), leaves room on the floor for my wife's couch! Looks very nice in wall surrounding wall-mounted HDTV. Perfectly paired with Cambridge SoundWorks Newton Series S300 MultiPole Surround Speaker. Spectacular sound with NAD T773 A/V Receiver. Compares well with far more expensive speakers.
