Designed as a docking speaker for the Creative ZEN Vision:M, ZEN V and ZEN V Plus players, the Cambridge SoundWorks PlayDock ZEN is available for immediate purchase. The Made for iPod-certified PlayDock i, designed for the iPod with video, iPod photo, iPod mini and iPod Nano, will be available in January 2007. Designed to deliver outstanding audio quality at home or on the go, the PlayDock ZEN and PlayDock i can run on AC or battery power. Using Cambridge SoundWorks' high-performance drivers, PlayDock ZEN and PlayDock i create accurate and natural reproduction of music. Their Wide Stereo Effect produces a large soundstage with superior stereo imaging. In addition, both models feature a built-in powered subwoofer with bass control for excellent bass response, and a convenient bass control knob.

In the home, the video-out connector enables sharing of pictures and videos with stunning 640 x 480 resolution on a television screen. Both PlayDock systems are magnetically shielded so they can be placed near a TV or computer monitor without causing interference.

The PlayDocks charge the ZEN or iPod during music playback of music, ZENcasts or podcasts. A line-in connector enables use with a wide variety of audio players, and a headphone jack connects easily to earphones or headphones for private listening.

The PlayDock system's digital amplifier provides efficient power consumption and long battery life. Users have the option of using either eight C-size batteries for continuous music playback on the go, or the included universal power adapter.
