Sold at J&R Music and Computer World Megastore
J&R Becomes New York Showroom for Cambridge SoundWorks' Product Line
NEWTON, MA and New York, NY May 17, 2001 - Cambridge
SoundWorks®, a manufacturer and retailer of home theater, home audio and
multimedia products, and J&R Music and Computer World, the country's largest
independently-owned computer, music and electronics megastore, today announced
that Cambridge SoundWorks' award-winning products will be available for
sale at J&R's retail complex in New York. The partnership provides Cambridge
SoundWorks with a showroom where customers can 'experience' and purchase
its high performance, high value speakers, while complementing J&R's selection
of highly-acclaimed brands and furthering product differentiation. Cambridge
SoundWorks is a wholly owned subsidiary of Creative Technology, Ltd (Nasdaq:
CREAF).

J&R Music and Computer World will feature assorted Cambridge SoundWorks
products. This includes surround sound systems, speakers and subwoofers,
and related music systems such as its highly acclaimed Model88?CD Table
Radio by Henry Kloss. Also featured is Cambridge SoundWorks' newly introduced
Newton Series®, a line of high-end loudspeakers that are affordably priced.
